I've been skipping these 'cause they've been pretty regular, but had to post this:

- Care Package, Emergency Airdrop, and Sentry Gun marker grenades sprint speed normalized
- Sentry Guns: Improved placement detection, preventing cases of Sentry Guns inside geometry
- Model 1887: Bling using Akimbo and FMJ combination now has same range and damage as non-Bling Model 1887s
- Improved player collision removing cases of getting into geometry and 'elevators'
- Mouse latency tweaks for more mouse movement consistency
- Fixes to prevent various texture and XP hacks

The patch last Thursday, if you're curious:

* Fix for latest texture hacks
* Fix to prevent players from getting inside geo
* Fix to prevent players with illegally pirated copies of Modern Warfare 2 from matchmaking with legitimate Modern Warfare 2 players
* Connection improvements for NAT-PMP routers
* Fix for "elevator" glitch that allows players to get out of playable area

Heh,last Thursday was mainly aimed at hacks..Nice..This game could be so awesome,but the shortcomings of this game severely kill the extended game play for me...



EDIT: Doesn't help that I suck at the game,I normally can hold my own in most FPS games,this one just tears me up.

Does the game "patch" through Steam, or do you have to download the patch from another place?

All versions of the game auto-patch through Steam. Gotta love the Steamworks integration.

I like the game, but find the Hackers and Server setup very frustrating...
Was so fed-up lastnight with hackers, I nearly walked away....
I hope the next Battlefield game is good....

I hear you. I,d love to be playing with you guys but getting frustrated eveytime I played that game defeated the purpose of gaming in the first place

Well getting frustrated is understandable,but its not every game you play that there is hackers..But it more like 1 out of 5 games there seems to be someone that is fishy,then there are some ppl that its just like whoa ok,you are not good,you are just hacking head shots everytime..Thats when I leave and just join another game..If your skill level is 1 and your playing against a 10,then yeah its going to seem like hes hacking,when in fact hes just really good,thats frustrating..Lately we have been having some pretty decent games with some of these random fellas that we play..We seem to be coming out on the top as far as score is concerned..For some reason I suck at this game,have some good rounds here and there..But I just play and have fun,there are so many times I just have tears in my eyes cause I am laughing so much..Looking forward to Bad Co 2 coming out though lol..But I really am havin a blast playing this game!
